This Privacy Policy explains how SoundHire, operated by Golden Mile Digital, collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use soundhire.es. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish data-protection law (LOPDGDD).

1. Who we are (Data Controller)

The data controller is Golden Mile Digital ("SoundHire", "we"), operating soundhire.es in Spain. For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, contact us at info@soundhire.es.

2. What data we collect

Artists / talent: name and stage name, contact details (email, phone), profile content (bio, photos, genres, event types, location, languages, links), pricing, availability, and payout details processed through Stripe.

Clients: name, contact details, and booking information (event date, location, messages).

All users: account credentials, device/usage data, and cookie data as described in our Cookie Policy.

3. Why we use it and our legal basis

To provide and operate the platform, create profiles and process bookings (performance of a contract).

To process payments and payouts (contract and legal obligation).

To keep accounting, tax and transaction records (legal obligation).

To improve and secure the service, and for analytics/marketing where you have consented (legitimate interest or consent).

4. Who we share it with (processors)

Stripe — payments and payouts (as an independent controller/processor under its own terms).

Our hosting and infrastructure providers, and, where enabled with your consent, analytics providers.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some processors (e.g. Stripe) may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account and profile data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we erase your public profile and personal data promptly.

We retain booking, invoice and payment records in anonymized form for the period required by Spanish tax and accounting law (generally up to 4–6 years), after which they are permanently deleted.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to processing, and to data portability. You can exercise these by contacting info@soundhire.es, and artists can delete their account directly from their dashboard.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD, www.aepd.es).
