JASIMO is one of the Costa del Sol’s most in-demand private-event selectors. He is resident DJ aboard the largest and most popular luxury charter superyacht in Puerto Banús and holds a weekly residencies at Bahía Limón in Sotogrande, One Eden Alcaidesa and is a regular selector across bars/clubs in Puerto Banus and Marbella. His rooms have included private parties in La Zagaleta — Europe’s most exclusive gated community — San Roque Golf Club and Gibraltar’s Sunborn Yacht Hotel, with a clientele spanning footballers from Real Madrid, Manchester City and Borussia Dortmund, the Czech national ice-hockey team, a European boxing champion and many of Gibraltar’s large gaming companies such as William hill, Bet Fred, Lottoland, Playson, Patriana to name a few. What sets him apart is the craft of the journey. JASIMO doesn’t DJ to a genre; he DJs to the energy in the room. Four hours is his default; ten or twelve is normal. A set might drift from sunset afro house into deep and Arabic house, swing through RnB, reggaeton and the guilty-pleasure classics nobody admits to singing along to, or lock into driving anthems from the first record and never look back. The most reliable review he gets is never written down: it’s the client paying him more to keep playing, because nobody wants the night to end.
